Hoi An is a sleepy little down in Central Vietnam located at the southern end of China Beach. Its sooo pretty and very laid back. It is one of those places you always hope you will meet on your travels - the place that makes you feel like you've arived.
The overnight bus from Hanoi was a bit of a shambles. The driver decided to stop in Hue because he didn't feel like going any further that day. I had to wait 6 hours until the next bus and as we came over the hill and down the valley and drove along the beautiful coastline of China Beach I thought, this is totally worth it!

Most of the buildings are this happy yellow colour! Makes such a difference to the character of a town - especially on a sunny day
